What do veterans and horses have in common?

At HERD Foundation, our programs use ground-based horsemanship and connection with horses to support healing, belonging, confidence, and community. Horses are highly attuned to body language and emotional presence. When we learn to communicate clearly and congruently with them, we often discover new awareness about ourselves and our relationships with others.

Our programs serve Veterans, service members, families, and children, offering structured programs and ongoing community connection.
